You integrate one API; for every payment, Wajub picks among your connections (the Wajub rail in Cameroon, or your own accounts at CinetPay, pawaPay, Flutterwave and others) which one to try, and in what order. Wajub is a technology platform, not a payment institution.

What happens when a connection goes down?

For a mobile money payment, Wajub immediately sends it through another of your connections able to carry it, within the same request: your customer does not have to start again. If the customer declines (insufficient balance, wrong number), Wajub does not prompt them a second time. A card payment is never replayed on another gateway. Every attempt is visible in the Konsole routing log.

What payment methods are supported?

Mobile money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Wave, Moov Money, Free Money, Airtel Money, M‑Pesa, Express Union and others), bank transfers and USSD in Nigeria, and cards through your accounts at Stripe, Flutterwave, Paystack, CinetPay, FedaPay, KkiaPay or PayPal. The Payment methods page lists every channel by country and the connections that carry it.

Can I try Wajub for free?

Yes. The sandbox is free with no time limit: it validates your integration end to end (payment creation, webhooks, idempotency). Routing across several connections runs in production, where you can check it on small amounts.

Does fallback protect against an operator outage?

It protects against a connection outage: if CinetPay is unreachable, your MTN payments can go through pawaPay or Flutterwave, if you have connected them. If the operator itself is down, every route to it is affected; every attempt remains visible in the routing log.

Signed webhooks: Every delivery carries an HMAC-SHA256 signature, with a secret per endpoint, and is only sent over HTTPS in production.X-Wajub-Signature
Card numbers entered with the provider: Your customers type them into the card provider's fields or payment window: they never reach Wajub.
Isolated sandbox: Sandbox and production have separate databases: a key from one never reads the other's data.
Secret keys kept server-side: A secret key used from a browser is rejected, and its owner is notified by email.
Encrypted credentials: The credentials you provide to connect your provider accounts are stored encrypted.
2FA and team roles: App-based two-factor authentication, enforceable for the whole team and required for sensitive actions, with a role per member.
